Our cosy restaurant is a meeting place for hikers, locals and gourmets. Eating, drinking and cosy get-togethers are the top priority here.

Pleasure on the plate & in the glass

During the summer, our guests enjoy the large garden terrace. This is the ideal place to marvel at the surrounding mountains and our elaborately painted façade. There is a slide and swing for our younger guests.

We attach particular importance to fresh, regional and down-to-earth cuisine. For example, our spaetzli are always home-made, our chops are renowned far and wide for their succulence and our fresh burger buns are filled with original Appenzeller beef.

Plenty of space for groups

Many a celebration has been held in our large, bright hall. It can accommodate up to 80 people, making it ideal for family celebrations, club events or smaller weddings.

Take a look at our menu suggestions for groups of 10 people or more. Of course, we are happy to cater to your individual wishes.

Our own whisky

Our house whisky Säntis Malt Edition Alpenrose is characterised by its pure beer barrel maturation. This special edition is only available from us – a pure treat for all connoisseurs and gourmets.
