Dear Guests,

please note our special opening hours in November and December:

the restaurant opens at 9:00 a.m.

our regular closing days are Wednesday and Thursday

In addition, we will be closed on the following dates:

Monday, 26 October, to Thursday, 29 October – we will be giving our house a thorough clean and saying goodbye to our team

Wednesday, 11 November, to Sunday, 15 November – from Friday to Sunday, we will be delighted to welcome you at the Gwerbler-Stobe at the A26 Trade Fair in Appenzell

Sunday, 6 December – we will be hosting a family event

Our inn was built in 1892 – initially as a small pub with its own stable. In 1962, the restaurant was rebuilt and a few simple guest rooms were added. In 1975, the building was extensively renovated and the façade was given the hand-painted flower and animal pictures that are still familiar today. In the winter of 1983/84, the extension for the hotel rooms with balconies was finally realised.

Since 2015, we – Sandra and Markus Wild-Wyss – have been at work. And now the fifth generation!

With a lot of passion and attention to detail, we make sure that you have a wonderful time with us. We look forward to your visit! «Chönd zonis»
